You paid extra for it in the beginning when you bought (buy) the car, so there's no continual fee.|||Right now there's the deal I believe still on at Canadian -Tire stores for a satellite navigation system and it's only 180.00 plus taxes plus no yrly fees at all.

However, there is a charge for updates to the database and those are released yearly. Also if your navigation system is equipped with the NavTraffic service, which gives live traffic updates, that is an extra monthly fee.
