Actually i have a Nokia E5 and i think it comes with free navigation ... So, i downloaded free maps from Maps Loader for my country and guidance and stuff but the navigation doesn't work without an internet connection , so i want it with satellites not internet ... How can i solve this ?|||GPS works without internet connection,but it is a complex process,so it takes time(5-10 mins in open areas)
however,if u have internet,assisted gps(a-gps) kicks in,where your phone sends the gps data to a server,and server does the work for your phone,and gives your phone information about its location.now,servers are much more powerful than your phone's processor,so they do it quickly|||find out for sure if it does have ovi maps lifetime navigation coz its supposed to work regardless of internet connection. Im not sure if a low end phone like the e5 has it, check ur owners manual and the box it came in if u still have it.|||it does work but it fooooooooorever to find yor location, you can see the maps with no internet though
