The car is a XM Ready 2006 Honda Civic 4 door sedan EX with satellite navigation. The stereo is the original from the dealership.
From the Honda website "XM Ready audio system is pre-wired to accept the dealer installed accessory XM Satellite Radio hardware." I need to know what that hardware consists of.|||Did you purchase the XM option from the dealer when you bought the car? If not, you could always go back and have them do it. That would look the best, the cleanest with the least amount of wires around, or you could take it to Best Buy and have them install it for you. Either way after that the only equipment you need is a credit card.
Good Luck!
There are four parts to the honda xm accessory kit - here are the part numbers, I just found this for you on e-bay.
XM SATELLITE RADIO PN # 08A15-EX5-000
XM RADIO ANTENNA PN # 08A15-EX5-100B
XM RADIO ATTACHMENT PN # 08B15-SNA-100
XM AUDIO SUB-HARNESS (2-PORT) PN # 08A31-0F1-000|||you need to call the 1 800 number to get a membership and then they will tell you how to program it. and if you don't already have one: you need a cigergrette lighter adapter
