Especially Tom Tom Go cost benefits (all models)|||Don't know how I ever lived without it! Tested on local roads I'm familiar with it sometimes suggests a direction I wouldn't necessarily take, but in a strange place who cares if you do a bit of a detour as long as you get to where you need to be. I've been to London, (and travelled around London), and Nottingham since I got mine and no way would I have found my way as easily with a map. Definitely worth the money, my only regret is not waiting for the sales as no doubt it's much cheaper now. Don't hesitate, GET ONE!|||The only thing bad I have heard about SatNav's is - if you driving anything larger than a car they could direct you onto roads that are unsuitable.
Other than that - I don't know.
We use a map!!!!!|||Been using TomTom systems for about 3 years on PDA %26amp; Standalone TomTom ONE. Never had many issues - but if set for 'shortest route' it will tend to take you down small dirt tracks... not a cheap option to run it, but the savings are made in time %26amp; reduced frustration - which can be immeasurable if you are in an unfamiliar area of an unfamiliar city.
