I was using the system and stopped at a garage for fuel. When I restarted my car I discovered that the information had gone including all my previous destinations. What caused this?|||No idea.....never happend to me, even when the battery has run out it still stores previous data....sounds like a bit of a glitch...has it got a hard drive or a sim card?|||What make and model sat nav do you have?
It may be the internal battery is flat - dead|||a loose SD card, check the card (if it has one)
connect it to a PC, and it should come up as a new drive in My computer, and you can check if there is any of the files still on there.
it shouldnt really happen, it could be faulty and if you just bought it, it would point to that, and i would take it back!|||Aliens.
